Validators, miners & node operators

Revenue arrives every epoch. The power bill arrives every month.

Rewards land on-chain, continuously, in the asset the network pays in. Hosting, hardware, bandwidth and power are invoiced in local currency, monthly, in whatever country the racks are in. Plaitr is the account that takes one and pays the other, with the conversion and the payment recorded as a single chain of events rather than reconstructed later.

Plaitr is not a bank. Fiat accounts and payment rails are provided by licensed partner institutions. On-chain balances sit in your own self-custodial Squads smart account on Solana.

What this looks like today, and what it looks like here.

Today

Every month starts with an off-ramp

Rewards have to become fiat before the hosting invoice can be paid, and the route usually runs through somebody's exchange account and a personal transfer into the company.

With Plaitr

Rewards arrive at an address the company owns

Your account has its own wallet address on every supported network, so stablecoin rewards and conversions land directly in the balance with no claim step and no individual in the path.

Today

Revenue is thousands of small on-chain credits

Rewards arrive constantly in amounts nobody records individually, so the revenue line in the books is a monthly guess reconciled against a balance.

With Plaitr

Convert and pay in one place

Convert against your own USD, EUR, GBP or AED balance at mid-market with no spread, then pay the hosting invoice over ACH, wire, SEPA, Faster Payments or local UAE rails from the same balance.

Today

Costs are in currencies the revenue is not

A data centre in one country, hardware from another, bandwidth billed in a third. Each invoice is a separate conversion priced by hand.

With Plaitr

The conversion and the payment are one record

Both post to the ledger as they settle, with the applied rate attached, so the cost of running the infrastructure and the revenue that funded it sit on the same ledger in the same period.

Today

Delegator and investor payouts are manual

Sharing rewards with delegators, partners or investors means a run of transfers somebody assembles and records by hand each period.

With Plaitr

Distributions as a bulk run

Pay delegators, partners or investors by CSV or API, in stablecoin or local currency per recipient, behind the signing thresholds your smart account enforces.

The specifics.

Capabilities and limits relevant to Validators, miners and node operators
InboundYour own wallet address per networkUSDC on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and Solana; USDT on Tron and Solana. Deposits credit the balance directly with no claim step.
Off-rampTo USD, EUR, GBP or AEDMid-market conversion with no spread, then out over ACH, wire, SEPA, Faster Payments or UAE local rails.
CustodyYour Squads smart account on SolanaThresholds enforced by the contract. Plaitr holds no funds and no keys.
DistributionsCSV or API, per-recipient currencyStablecoin or local currency per line, gasless on the stablecoin ones — Plaitr pays the network fee.
RecordsConversion and payment on one ledgerApplied rate recorded with the entry, exported to Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite or CSV.
Native tokensNot heldPlaitr holds stablecoins and fiat. Rewards paid in a network's own token have to be converted to a stablecoin before they reach your Plaitr balance.

What Plaitr does not do.

Plaitr is software for moving and recording money. The list below is the boundary of that, written out here rather than discovered on a call.

  • Plaitr holds stablecoins and fiat, not arbitrary tokens. Native-token rewards need converting to USDC or USDT before they arrive.
  • Plaitr does not run staking, delegation, slashing protection or any validator infrastructure. It is the finance layer, not the node.
  • Plaitr is not a bank and does not provide FDIC insurance.
  • There is no yield on an idle balance today.
  • Plaitr does not do your bookkeeping, take tax positions on reward income or file returns. Reward taxation varies by jurisdiction and is yours and your advisers'.

Questions we get asked.

Send us a month of rewards and a hosting invoice.

Which networks pay you, in what, and where the racks are. We will tell you whether the off-ramp and the payment both work on your setup today.
