You raised in USDC. Your landlord has not heard of it.
The raise is on-chain, the burn is not: AWS, lawyers, auditors, a contractor in Lisbon and a payroll in two countries. The usual answer is a bank account you got lucky with, somebody's exchange account for the off-ramp, a payout provider, and a bookkeeper who tells you in April what you spent in January. Plaitr is one account for the whole thing.
Plaitr is not a bank. Fiat accounts and payment rails are provided by licensed partner institutions. On-chain balances sit in your own self-custodial Squads smart account on Solana.
What this looks like today, and what it looks like here.
Getting a bank account at all
A company whose revenue arrives on-chain is a declined application at most banks, and an account that gets closed six months in at some of the ones that say yes.
On-chain revenue is normal here
Plaitr is built for companies whose money arrives in stablecoins, so the activity that gets you declined elsewhere is the activity this product is for. Eligibility is answered at the start of onboarding rather than three weeks in.
The off-ramp runs through a person
Somebody on the team sells USDC on their own exchange account and wires it to the company. It works until a diligence process, an audit or that person's departure makes it everyone's problem.
The company off-ramps on its own account
Your account has its own wallet address, so the raise and the revenue land directly. Convert at mid-market with no spread and pay out over ACH, wire, SEPA or Faster Payments. No individual in the path, which removes the transaction your auditors would have asked about.
Two sides of the books never meet
The on-chain side lives in a crypto accounting tool that infers what each transfer was. The fiat side lives in QuickBooks. Somebody merges them by hand, late.
One ledger, both sides
Stablecoin and fiat post to the same ledger as they settle, with the counterparty, the rail and the applied rate attached, then export to Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite. Nothing to infer from the chain, because nothing was lost.
Paying the team is three products
Payroll in one country, contractors through a provider, and a few people paid in stablecoin directly because nothing else reached them.
One balance pays everyone
Core team payroll, contractors in 90+ countries and the people who want stablecoin all run from the same balance, on a saved group or a CSV, behind approvals you set per entity.
The specifics.
| Custody | Your Squads smart account on Solana | Signing thresholds enforced on-chain. Plaitr holds no funds and no keys, and there is no admin override. |
|---|---|---|
| Fiat accounts | USD, EUR, GBP, AED on local rails | Named accounts you can receive into as a local business, plus inbound SWIFT. |
| Stablecoins | USDC and USDT, both directions | USDC on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and Solana; USDT on Tron and Solana. Your account has its own address on each, so there is no claim step. |
| FX | Mid-market, no spread | Nothing folded into the rate. The applied rate is disclosed before each transaction is submitted. |
| Accounting | Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, CSV | Reconciled as each transaction settles, with read-only logins for your accountant or an external auditor. |
| Pricing | Free to open, 0.75% on money in and out | 0.50% on Premium at $99 a month, and no percentage on ACH and wires on Enterprise. Gasless stablecoin payouts on every plan. |
What Plaitr does not do.
Plaitr is software for moving and recording money. The list below is the boundary of that, written out here rather than discovered on a call.
- Plaitr is not a bank and does not provide FDIC insurance. Fiat accounts and rails come from licensed partner institutions.
- Corporate cards and employee spend accounts are not live — there is no issuing partner yet. Nothing on this site should be read as cards being available.
- Credit, working capital and venture debt are not products Plaitr offers.
- There is no yield on an idle balance today.
- Plaitr is not an employer of record and does not file payroll taxes or issue local employment contracts.
- Plaitr does not do your bookkeeping, prepare tax positions or file returns.

Tell us how the money gets from the chain to your landlord.
Whose account it passes through, how long it takes, and what your bookkeeper does with it afterwards. We will tell you plainly whether we replace that path.
