Plaitr (“we”, “us”) operates plaitr.com. This Refund Policy sets out how refunds work for the one-time onboarding fee charged at account opening, for this marketing website, and for the services delivered through our licensed partner institutions. Read it alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Onboarding fee
Account opening may be subject to a one-time onboarding fee. It covers application processing, business verification, and compliance review — the work we carry out to decide whether an account can be opened. The fee is risk-based: the amount depends on the risk profile of your business, and it is disclosed to you in the Plaitr platform before you are asked to pay.
The onboarding fee is one-time and non-refundable. It is payable during the review process, before account activation.
Paying the onboarding fee does not guarantee that your account will be approved. The fee pays for the review itself, and that review is carried out whether the outcome is an approval or a decline. If your application is declined, withdrawn, or cannot be completed because requested information is not provided, the fee is retained, because the compliance work it covers has already been performed. Approval decisions are made under our KYB Policy and remain at the discretion of Plaitr and the relevant partner institution.
Once an account is approved, there is no recurring account maintenance fee. Standard transaction fees apply when you use the payment services, as set out on our pricing page.
If you were charged an onboarding fee in error — for example, charged twice for the same application — contact support@plaitr.com and we will refund the duplicate.
This marketing website
plaitr.com itself does not sell products, take payments, or offer paid subscriptions. Onboarding fees and transaction fees are charged inside the Plaitr platform after you apply, never from this website.
Account services
Business banking accounts and payment services are provided by licensed partner institutions under their own agreements. Any fees, chargebacks, and refund terms for those services are set by the relevant partner and disclosed during account opening. When Plaitr Card programs launch, card-related refund and chargeback terms will be set by the issuing partner and delivered at account opening. If you already hold an account, review the terms provided at that time or contact your account manager.
